The next Dresdner Kleinwort Frankfurt Marathon will take place on 26 October 2008.
Held in Germany’s financial centre – and one of Europe’s financial hubs – the Dresdner Kleinwort Frankfurt Marathon is one of the key international marathon events. The route takes in some of the best known sights of Frankfurt before finishing in style on the red carpet of the city’s Festival Hall.
Renowned as a fast and flat course, the race has produced some impressive times in recent years. But it’s not just about elite athletes producing outstanding performances – the Frankfurt Marathon offers fun for people of all ages and abilities. The race programme includes the Struwwelpeter Run for children aged four to nine (420m), the Mini Marathon (4.2k) for children aged ten to sixteen, and the Pretzel Run (5k) – our Saturday morning Breakfast run. Alternatively, if running’s not your thing, there are street parties, live bands, and much more.
